“Journey’s Dream”

The inspiration for “Journey’s Dream” came during the Tour de France, a favorite sporting event of mine, as I watched the cyclists passing through the coastal region of Spain, riding fearlessly to their final destination on the cobbled Champs-Elysées in Paris, France.  I tried to capture the beautiful and fleeting scenery with varying shades of blue, earthy brown, red, deep purple, and hints of orange, with highlights of gold and bold strikes of copper.
